Low Times - Oh, There’s No Way Out •

Having Low Times up on the site has been a long time coming. Heard a song from this Austin trio a couple of months ago and totally loved it. If you’re familiar with (and like) Burger, Bad Afro, and HoZac Records rosters, Low Times will be right up your alley.

On their soon to be released split 7” with Eets Feats: “I Don’t Belong” is the psych burner to “Oh, There’s No Way Out’s” energetic garage. Sound-wise, think of a clash between Cosmonauts and Thee Oh Sees.

Eets Feats’ contribution to the split are a brattier punk to the straight garage from Low Times. “We’d Bum,” a testament to the aforementioned bratty feel, and “Gravity Drag’s” a well-paced jammy number. One that, for its modest play time, feels like it goes on forever (a good forever.)

Real stoked on these two acts that cover almost everything I like to hear: garage rock and psych jams. Throw some Gucci Mane on top of this and I’m set for life.

The physical split 7” is soon to be out on band members’ own imprint, Aye Aye Aye Tapes Escapes which you can pre-order here.
